Independent Living skills Training Program
The Argus Home Health ILSS Independent Living Skills Specialist Program is designed to assist those recovering from an acquired brain injury, and offer them the opportunity to become self-sufficient in the community through one to one training. Through this program the individual will gain or regain the ability to acquire, generalize, and maintain skills that are critical in supporting independence. This program addresses each recipient individually by the development of an Individual Rehabilitation Plan. This plan is developed with the ILSS and the individual to determine goals for both the long and short term. Such goals may include household and financial management, communication, physical enhancement or community access which includes public transportation and more specifically mobility training. Various strategies are used to assist the individual in grasping the concepts, such as group skills training, social learning techniques, modeling, and the use of other creative natural supports. Our ILSS receives supervision both administratively as well as clinically on a regular basis. Family and Individual counseling services are also available.

Personal Care Provider
Argus Home Health has for over 10 years provided personal care services and we have always included those individuals with an acquired brain injury. This program is set up to assist more with the daily activities such as cooking, cleaning and laundry for the newly injured. These two service types can work together in supporting the transition from hospital to community.

Home Health Skilled Services
Argus Home Health skilled services program is certified for both Medicare and Medicaid. This program is fully accredited to provide the full range of professional services, including nursing, therapy, and medical social work.
